- Job Duties:
- - Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. - Duties may vary from time to time. - Workers may be asked to operate the watermelon bus. - Perform manual labor to hand-cut, watermelons. - Use hand tools such as shovels, hoes, brooms, scissors, shears, and knives. - Duties also include cleaning, loading, and unloading harvested products. - Workers must perform manual labor to pull plastic and weeds from the fields. - Removal of irrigation equipment.

- Special Requirements:
- - Must be 18 years old - Workers must have a valid verifiable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire to operate watermelon bus. - Proper work attire required - No cell phone usage on the job, unless during lunch or emergencies - Lifting requirement may have a range of 5 - 60 lbs - Workers will work in 20 to 100 - temperatures, in outdoor agricultural fields, and in all weather conditions - All tools, supplies, equipment will be provided at no cost to workers - Must be able to work with minimum supervision -Workers should expect periods of little/no work due to weather conditions beyond employers control. Hours and days of work may vary due to weather conditions. -If the employee is unable or unfit to perform the duties listed after a 14-day trial period, the employee will receive warnings, hours may be reduced to the minimum allowed in the certified petition or terminated.
