Job Duties:

Job duties include operating equipment such as tractors, backhoe, skid-steer loader, and forklift. Employees will be receiving grain at the elevator, preparing scale tickets, monitoring to ensure compliance with moisture and grade standards. Load and unload trucks, transfer grain to the proper storage area, transfer grain from storage to the truck bins, then ship grain as required. Employees will also shovel grain to remove what cannot be removed by the automatic conveyor equipment and tend to machines that remove foreign matter. Must be able to climb vertical grain leg and perform housekeeping duties to ensure that storage locations are properly maintained and clean. Duties also include the use of hand tools, welding, performing minor miscellaneous repair, and maintenance. Basic literacy reading and math skills and three months experience are required. Must have or be able to obtain drivers license within 30 days of hire. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
