Job Duties:

Position Description This position will be responsible for the daily harvesting of fresh produce Iceberg and Romaine Lettuce Duties and Responsibilities Operating of tractors, harvest machinery and equipment Harvest, pack and load fresh produce Sort and remove loose leaves from harvested product Stack and tie harvested product Complete pre-printed labels and apply to cartons/pallet Assemble cartons, apply liners Transfer water for machine and product Maintain levels of chlorine Maintain/clean/sanitize equipment Perform other duties as assigned Work Environment and Activities (Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job. Ability to operate/maneuver machinery for harvesting Ability to safely perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving the entire body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling and handling of materials. Extended periods of time walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, stretching, crouching Ability to work in an outdoor environment and tolerate variety of temperatures Ability to safely lift/maneuver up to 40lbs Ability to safely use a cutting knife to cut product from the ground

Special Requirements:

Employee must be able to opperate/manuever machinery for harvesting, safely perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving of entire body such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, squatting, push, pulling, handling of materials. Abiltiy to walk, bend, squat, stand, kneel, crouch, stretch and walk in an outdoor environment and tolerate variety of temperatures for an extened period ofn time. Abitlity to lift 40lbs.
