- Job Duties:
- 1. Individual shall take care of pruning vines, cutting, collecting shoots, burning and ploughing, staking/anchoring, budburst, ploughing down, de-budding suckering, flowering first trimmings, first leaf trimming, second leaf trimming, second leaf thinning, checking maturity of harvest 2. Maintaining the trellis system, replacing posts as needed 3. Shall also help install traps to eliminate nuisance critters 4. Shall set posts and tighten the wires as needed 5. Mowing vineyard and surrounding area with mowers provided 6. Eradication of weeds; Spraying of vineyard and vegetation 7. Shall help with protecting the vines from the cold weather by covering them with soil or mulch depending on snowfall and frost 8. Shall help with operating and maintenance of farm equipment such as tractors, mowers and side-by-sides and snow blowers
