- Job Duties:
- Work may include but is not limited to, plant, cultivate, harvest various crops, such as but not limited to, vegetables, fruits, field crops, use of hand tools such as shovels, hoes, pruning shears, knives, ladders, etc. Duties may include but are not limited to, tilling soil, applying fertilizers, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning, picking, cutting, harvesting crops, picking rocks, sorting vegetables, participating in Irrigation activities, tie, prune tomatoes, grafting vegetable plants. Stack hay and straw on wagons and trucks. Work is usually performed outdoors, sometimes under hot, cold and/or wet conditions. Work is physically demanding, requiring workers to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis. 1 month verifiable experience required in duties listed. Workers with drivers license will drive company vehicles to market.
