Job Duties:

Strickland Farms is a row-crop farming operation where we grow corn, cotton, and peanuts. We plant, spray, fertilize and harvest all our crops. We haul all our crops to the grain elevator, cotton gins, and peanut buying point. The equipment we use has full GPS components that is be utilized by machine and operator. The operator must be able to use and operate the equipment. Also, the employees will need to complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment including wash, grease, and maintain equipment and do certain repairs on equipment such as wheel bearings, filter changes, replace oil lines or normal repair work. The equipment we use has full GPS components that is be utilized by machine and operator. The duties include operating self-propel sprayer, tractor, spreader, cotton picker, peanut combines.

Special Requirements:

Job requires repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must have a regular drivers license and be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
