- Job Duties:
- Workers must be capable of a wide range of tasks. Operate farm machinery including tractors with GPS, operate planters, tillage, cultivation and harvesting equipment. Manually pick rocks, cultivate and weed crops. Use hand tools including hoes, knives, shears, and other tools. Duties include tilling of soil, planting, weeding, thinning crops, picking stone and harvesting crops. Maintenance of fields, hedgerows, storage facilities and buildings. Identification of plants, weeds and pests. Work requires sitting to operate equipment, standing, walking, lifting 60 lbs, and bending repetitively. All workers must have a valid drivers license and capable of driving car, pickup, or van. Must have 6 months of verifiable experience in tasks posted in this job order. Applicants must furnish job reference from recent employers operating comparable operations to establish acceptable prior experience.
