Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Agricultural Equipment Operators | SOC Code: 45-2091 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Reynolds Farms, Williams, CA, Colusa Possible shift: 6:00AM-4:00PM. 50+ May be possibility of weekend work. Duties may include: Operate farm equipment to prepare agricultural grounds and seed beds for corn, cucurbit seed, rice, sunflower, tomato, and wheat production. Plant, grow, cultivate, fertilize, spray, and harvest the above crops using farm equipment. Ground prep includes leveling, disking, ripping, and land planning. Seed bed prep will include listing, mulching, and bed shaping. Workers will be required to plant seeds, apply chemicals and fertilizers with farm equipment as necessary to grow the crops & other related Agricultural Equipment Operators activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Farm Equipment: Tractor and Combine exp. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hours. Must be dependable and fulfill obligations. Must have clear attention to detail to complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Must be 18 years of age. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Must have 3 months experience working with agricultural equipment. Specifically with tractors and combines.
