Job Duties:

We need a seasonal employee to assist with my farming operation. I farm 1500 acres of cotton and 350 acres of peanuts. The employee will need to have farming experience and a strong farming background. The employee will need to operate farm equipment including a cotton picker, large tractors with GPS systems, high boy sprayer, peanut combine and other farm equipment. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment including knowing how to weld. Employee will need to assist with our irrigation systems including servicing, maintaining, and repairing the systems and pivots. The employee must have previous experience running irrigation system including pivots.

Special Requirements:

Job requires extensive walking and being able to lift 50 lbs. We will conduct post-hire random drug screenings to enforce a drug free workplace at no cost to the employee. Failing a drug test will result in termination. We will conduct post-hire criminal background screenings at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a violent/theft criminal background. Must have a regular drivers license and be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
