Job Duties:

Peach Pickers will be picking fruit from our orchard at least 5.5 days a week. Pickers will be asked to display a high degree of physical fitness and health. Picking will require being able to lift at least 50 pounds, walk long distance and bend or squat often to pick or empty picking bags. Peaches will be picked using a picking bag that will be emptied into wooden crates or boxes. Workers will be asked to use and move ladders to reach the tops of trees while picking. Once wooden crates or boxes are full, workers will collect and stack them on to pallets or into bins to be delivered to their final location. Workers may also need to make peach boxes to pick peaches into. Pickers may also be asked to help field sort peaches.
