- Job Duties:
- Farm worker needed for Hay and Seasonal Livestock. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, fences, shop, and barn. Hay involves: land prep, make ditches, plant rye grass, fertilize, spot spray, weed management, assist with shred/cut & bail hay using tractor and other farm equipment. Livestock includes: caring for cattle during breeding and weaning season until calves are sold to market: feed, monitor progress of breeding season, medicate/vaccinate newborn calves & cows as needed, wean calves then ship to market for sale. Strenuous labor, and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon 50% completion of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
