- Job Duties:
- Workers will be required to hand plant sugarcane by following a trailer and pulling cane from the trailer and planting in rows or straightening cane after it has been planted by a mechanical planters. General farm labor such as drainage, shovel work, cleaning the shop areas, mowing house, shop, office yard, keeping fields free of debris, keeping housing in clean and neat order. Minor repair and maintenance to farm vehicles and equipment, cleaning farm vehicles and equipment, etc. Drug tests may be performed post hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Worker must abide all posted work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
