Job Duties:

Workers will be performing work on the farm cleaning and removing debris from a fire at a livestock confinement on the farm. The farmers livestock confinement burnt down on May 28, 2021, causing significant damage. Workers will remove any and all dead livestock and fire damaged material. After removing the debris from the worksite, the workers will be required to rebuild the livestock confinement. Workers will perform the following construction tasks: building and erecting walls and trusses, lifting tin sheets to roof and sheet walls, installing doors, and caulking structure, unloading and installation of various types of hog equipment such as watering, feed, ventilation and gating systems, insulating and sealing components of livestock barns and ventilation systems. Repair and install curtains and gates. Clean up job site. Due to the damage of the barn, workers must be able to tolerate strong odors. Workers must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds 75 yards. Workers will be required to stand, stoop, and walk significant amounts during the day.
