Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Farm Worker | SOC Code: 45-2091 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Cuatro MS Farms LLC, Curry, NM, Clovis Possible shift: 7:00AM-4:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Corn, Sorghum, Hay, Alfalfa. Duties may include: Use tractor to maintain fields, harvest crops, plow, plant, pack silage, service farm equipment, use choppers to tend to crops, operate forage harvester. Truck drivers will load commodities from field to silage pit or bag. Perform post and pre trip safety inspections. Driver must have commercial driving experience of 1 month. & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Must have 1 months Farm equipment exp.Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.50lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Must be 18 due to equipment use. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/ refusal to abide = dismissal.
