Job Duties:
Crewleaders will supervise workers to make sure that they are doing an adequate job. Quality Checkers: Crewleaders will make sure workers are picking good fruit that is the correct size and picking the fruit correctly by bending over to pick the fruit and not kneeling on the ground. Crewleaders will also be in charge of weighing the fruit and issuing tokens to the workers. Crewleaders will be responsible for driving the workers to the field(s), housing, and grocery store. If needed the, Crewleaders may help with laying plastic, building beds, planting and harvesting strawberries, blueberries, cucumbers, peppers, and squash.

Special Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older. Three months experience in quality checking fruit and overseeing berry crews. Employer may conduct a criminal background checks on all new applicants for employment. All tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. Workers may be offered more than the standard hours of work in a single workday. Workers may volunteer to work additional hours when work is available. Raises and end of the season bonuses may be offered to any seasonal worker, at the employers discretions, based on individual factors including but not limited to, performance, experience, number of hours worked in the season, number of seasons worked with the company, adherence to work rules and ability to follow supervisor instructions. The majority of the day is spent on ones feet and outdoors and involves exposure to sun, wind, rain, soil, mud, dust, heat, cold and natural elements. Workers may stand in one place for any period of time.
