Job Duties:

Our farm utilizes seasonal help from fall harvest through spring planting. Employees may assist with all aspects of corn production. In the fall, harvest and production would start in October and run thru December. Grain hauling from remote locations continues after harvest through the winter months as we store it for later usage as feed. The preparation of equipment to be used during planting, cleaning, and repairing corn harvesting equipment is done from January to March. Preparing the land for planting starts in March and then planting occurs from April until June. After June, there is no work to be performed in the fields because the crops are growing. The workers would then return in September or October (depending on when the corn crop is ready to be harvested) to continue to harvest the grain. Equipment operated may include: ATV, pickup, semi-truck, tractor or combine harvester.
