- Job Duties:
- Workers will grade, pack, sort and pull seeds from cotton in the cotton gin. Workers will be operating gin equipment such as bale presses and record weight of bale and seed. Be able to operate combination truck and trailer to transport bales to and from gin storage during ginning; operate module moving trucks and trailers to transport cotton modules to the gin; maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery; Be able to operate equipment such as dryers, cleaners, gin stands, lint cleaners and bale presses. The equipment separates the seed, trash, and cotton fibers, then bales the cotton fiber in a bale. Drive pickup to obtain parts and supplies; repairs and maintenance to equipment and machinery. Manual labor to repair; service equipment; perform routine maintenance; grease fillings, check belt chain and tension. All these jobs will be done under extreme sunlight ;stopping, bending, and heavy lifting will be required of the workers. All tools will be provided to workers at no cost. Job will pay at the hourly rate of $11.81 per hour. Must be eligible to work in the USA. Must be able to lift up to 75pounds. Workers must have 3 months of verifiable experience.
