- Job Duties:
- Duties include but are not limited to: Cattle care: Hauling water to livestock out on cornstalks/fields. Building and maintaining hot wire fence for cattle. Checking and feeding cattle daily. Assist during calving. Helping calves to thrive after birth in potentially cold weather, drying calves, ear tagging, weighing, collecting information for herd record keeping. Assist in preparing cows for breeding programs. Assist preparing and caring for young bulls developing for sale. Other cattle care as needed depending on weather and circumstances.
