- Duties may include but are not limited to the following: feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching and loading, hauling manure and hauling feed. May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist with spring calving. Care of pregnant cows and new calves. Administer medications, vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Construction, maintenance, and repair of pipe and wire fencing and wire fencing and corrals.
