Job Duties:

Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Unload all fencing supplies; Position all fencing posts and secure all initial fencing; Unload cattle; Weigh, vaccinate, and tag each; Assist veterinarian in examinations; Distribute water and feed troughs; Put out hay bales; Mix feed with additives daily; Check fences; Examine each cow for injuries; Confine livestock to fenced area; Bust ice in water troughs; Clear manure; Keep weight measurements.

Special Requirements:

Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Extensive pushing, pulling, walking. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Minimum one (1) months experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers expense due to the presence of children and expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Basic literacy and arithmetic requirement. No minimum education required.
