- Job Duties:
- The Farm Laborer will provide laborer services in all aspects of industrial hemp farming and hemp processing, starting with winterization and greenhouse work and culminating in planting season. Specific duties and responsibilities will include the following: Winter Work - Greenhouse Maintenance, Reskinning, Greenhouse heating and irrigation systems maintenance, Preparing Biomass Orders, Maintenance and mechanic work on farm machinery, Seed Preparation and Orders, Delivering orders (CDL Needed), upkeep and upgrades on farm pivot, rebuilding manufacturing customized hemp cleaning machines, farm vehicle maintenance, renovations on shop and farmhouse operating tractors. Once weather allows, field planting, cultivating, harvesting, and winterizing. Mix fertilizer ratios for pivot watering. Use of heavy duty farm equipment, including customizing combine for hemp harvesting and basic maintenance of vehicle pumps and fencing. Irrigate fields and pivot repairs. General greenhouse and shop maintenance. Perform heavy lifting; pushing/pulling; walking; stooping; standing on concrete and chainline; climb ladders for pivot repair, wheel change, and change nozzels; load, haul, and unload heavy equipment and oversized loads. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week with occasional hours not to exceed 60 per week. The employee will be required to work Monday through Friday for 8 to 10 hours per day. Required hours of work on Saturday and Sunday will vary UP TO 8 hours per day, depending on growing schedule. However, the total hours per week will not exceed 60 hours per week.
