- Job Duties:
- Duties include the following: -Painting wooden fences and barns and repair barns, sheds, and houses (20%) -Clear Cattle Fences- hand cut vegetation from under fences with cutter, stack in a pile (25%) -Repair Cattle Fences- hand cut damaged wire with wire cutters, replace with new wires (20%) -New Cattle Fences- hand remove old wires, roll up in 10' section, replace with new wire, attach to fence post every 10', attach wire to post with clamps with clamp pliers (15%) -Hay Field and Drainage Canals and Ditches- mow hay field with tractor, cut 8' pass at a time until cut, hand cut ditches with cutters, and stack in pile (20%) -Feed animals -Spraying pesticides
