Job Duties:

General farm worker needed for crawfish & rice. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice includes: field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice & driving tractor, assist with spraying of fertilizer & chemicals for rice crop. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate motorized & push crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, check for broken levees and repair if needed, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. All tools, equipment & supplies are provided at no cost. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and/or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
