- Assist with feeding cattle, servicing equipment, maintaining corrals, check waterers; feeding cattle, assist with calving of heifers and calves, process calves by administering medicine and recording numbers; move cows and calves through various pens, operate farm machinery to prep ground for planting, mow grass pasture, prepare irrigation pivots for use; operating irrigation pivots, harvest crops like peas, small grains, soybeans, sorting cattle to be taken to market and sold; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
