- Job Duties:
- Maintaining and operating snow removal, fencing and feed equipment used in winter months and during winter season. Examining newly weaned calves to detect weather-related injuries and ensuring the health of the calves during the winter. Cleaning snow off of cattle feeding grounds, unloading and moving cattle for feeding and protection from winter weather, loading cattle for shipment to market. Clearing snow from yards and barn and maintaining fence. Maintaining heated water systems. Removing ice from water. Maintaining heated section of barns so that equipment is operational during coldest weather.
