- Job Duties:
- Pickers hand pick mushroom from shelves then cut stem with a knife and place mushroom into a 10 lb box. The boxes are handed to a runner who will move boxes to pallet to be placed into cold storage. Composting: cleaning of bunkers, loading and unloading, sorting composting materials. Mixing composting materials. Transporting compost and composting materials. Central Work Operations: Cleaning and sanitizing of growing rooms, assisting with mixing, spawning, casing and harvesting. Packaging: cleaning and sanitizing of holding room and delivery vehicles. Assembling boxes, sorting boxes by type and size. Loading, strapping and unloading pallets.
