- Job Duties:
- General farmhands for Rice & Crawfish: work includes: Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice to include: field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of crop & driving tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite are paid for by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and/or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
