- Job Duties:
- Operating large farm equipment for tilling, cultivating, fertilizing, planting grain & silage; swathing, raking, baling, chopping and transporting crops to storage areas; working with farming and harvesting equipment, performing service and maintenance and making repairs on all farming and irrigation equipment, structures, fences and all farming vehicles as necessary; assisting with birthing of baby calves from mother cows and heifers; checking health of cattle, pulling sick cows/calves and administering medication for survival; assisting with weaning calves; sorting calves to be taken to market; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
