IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING WAGES FOR TEMPORARY AGRICULTURAL JOBS

The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Performs any of the following seasonal tasks to attend to livestock: Working and vaccinating cattle. Feeding cattle. Maintaining heated water systems and or opening frozen water tanks. Fencing corn fields for winter grazing. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Snow removal of pens and roads after heavy snow/blizzard conditions. Maintaining feed equipment. Calving/ banding and vaccinations. Return cattle to pasture at the end of the season. On occasion, drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.
