- Job Duties:
- Work specifically with thoroughbred horses: leading horses in and out to paddocks and barns, feed, holding horses for farrier, holding horses for veterinarian, walking horses for farm manager to examine, clean stalls, put hares on horse walker, groom. All equipment supplied. Harvesting hay and grass fields. Assist with birthing and foaling duties beginning in February, and with weaning duties from April to June until October. Attend to and care for newborn foals, assist in separation of foals from mother, and assist in acclimation to new feeding patterns.
