Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Ranch Hand | SOC Code: 45-2093 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Camo Farms, Inc, Palm City, FL, Martin Possible shift: 6:30AM-6:30PM. 72+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Cattle, Compost. Duties may include: Operate farm equipment, maintain farm equipment, care for and process livestock, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, weighing, and loading cattle. Maintain records on animals, examine animals to detect diseases and injuries. Maintain fences and farm structures, turn compost piles, load soil, operate fire box, mow and cultivate fields. Working knowledge of basic hand tools. Ability to operate composting equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in birth deliveries, administer medications, vaccinations and insecticides as appropriate. Monitor and maintain health of cattle. & other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Farm equipment exp.Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 100lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.100lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be 18 years of age. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Cash advances may apply at employer discretion.
