Job Duties:

Work in inclement weather (rain, heat, cold, hot, humid) $.50 cents a pound blueberries/$11.99/hour 35 hours a week. Workers will be picking blueberries by hand. Workers may lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Work is in inclement weather conditions including extremely hot, humid, cold, and/or rainy weather. Worker Three months of verifiable blueberry picking farm-work experience required.1st week guarantee. Tools are provided by employer at no cost. Must show proof of legal authority to work in USA. Must be 18 years old. Long sleeve shirts and long pants are recommended to minimize contact with the plants and thereby reduce the exposure to cuts and scrapes caused by the plants. Perform prolonged walking over uneven ground in dusty or muddy conditions, bending and reaching. Work is outside in extremely wet, humid, hot, and dirty conditions. Wash hands before and after picking blueberries and after every break. Workers will pick blueberries that are dry, they cannot be picked wet. Blueberries will be picked according to color of ripeness, firmness. restack lugs, stack on trailer. Pick berries put into a 1-gallon dry bucket, carry to dumper/weigh. Workers will, count, pick, pack, load, and unload blueberries. Hoe, till, fertilize, weed, thin, prune, plant, clean areas, trash, debris sweep, mop, clean restrooms, lugs, trailers. Employer conducts drug testing upon accident at employers expense. Must have good hand and eye coordination to quality pick the blueberries. Prefer smooth use of machete due to snakes.

The employer will only conduct a drug test only if the worker (employee) is in a work-related accident. The drug testing will be at the employers expense.
