Job Duties:

Workers will be planting, pruning, suckering, topping, counting, loading, unloading, picking up tobacco; Workers will also be planting, pruning, weeding, harvesting sweet potatoes. Workers will cut sweet potato slips, stack slips into cartons and load cartons onto trucks. All tools will be provided to the workers at no cost. Workers will be walking, stooping, bending, and reaching though out the work day. Los trabajadores estarán plantando, podando, chupando, cubriendo, contando, cargando, descargando, recogiendo tabaco; Los trabajadores también estarán plantando, podando, desmalezando, cosechando batatas. Los trabajadores cortarán los resbalones de batata, apilarán los trozos en los cartones y cargarán los cartones en los camiones. Todas las herramientas serán proporcionadas a los trabajadores sin costo alguno. Los trabajadores caminarán, se agacharán, se agacharán y extenderán la mano durante toda la jornada laboral.

Driving Requirement: Though not a hiring requirement, if a worker drives a company vehicle during the period of employment then at the time of operating the company vehicle the driver must possess a valid drivers license issued by a U.S. state or foreign equivalent and operate the company vehicle in accordance with the license restrictions and vehicle classifications applicable to that license.
