Job Duties:

Each day main duties will include harvesting sod and loading it onto trucks with a forklift. Also, you will assist customers who come to the field and need sod placed on their truck with a forklift and by hand-stacking the sod rolls onto the customer vehicle. Once daily sod harvest is completed, you may also perform additional duties such as mowing, repairing pallets, organizing the field, irrigation, servicing machinery, and moving equipment. Other duties include performing maintenance on property and equipment, including cleaning the shop, cleaning equipment, power washing, pallet repairs, grading field lanes, mowing roadsides, landscape work around the farm, spraying weeds, servicing irrigation equipment, and drain tile installation.

Special Requirements:

Must have a regular driver's license and be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Job requires extensive sitting, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire random drug testing at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires 3 months experience
