Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Ag Equipment Operator | SOC Code: 45-2091 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Mario Moreno's Trucking, LLC, Dexter, NM, Chaves Possible shift: 7:00AM-5:00PM. 60+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Corn, Wheat, Sorghum. Duties may include: May operate all farm equipment including: tractors, combines, sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, mowers, skid steers, and semi's. Will operate conveyors for loading and unloading trucks. Assist with property maintenance involving: mowing, cleaning working areas, maintaining equipment and tools. Assist with fieldwork involving drilling, planting, tilling, and harvesting corn, sorghum and wheat. Load manure spreader with wheel loader and unload/spread manure on field. Driving necessary to assist with moving of larger equipment. Must be able to obtain CDL & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Combine, forklift operation & farm equipment maintenance exp. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hours. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Must be 18 due to equipment use. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States.
