- Job Duties:
- The duties to be performed at the time of hire include assisting with field management, hay and grass processing, irrigation of land, loading up bales of hay, and general field work around maintaining the area of fencing on a 20 acre farm. Additional duties include repair of farm tools, repair of farm buildings and fencing, use of equipment to prepare and grade the land, and other maintenance concerns. Payment will be provided for the airfare, housing, and transportation to and from work. Field management: Candidate must be comfortable with operating heavy equipment, tractoring fields, and mowing the premises. Candidate must be able to lift up to 130lb bales of hay. Additional duties include farm maintenance and repairs, installation of fencing, planting small garden and and tending to the overall upkeep. This is predominantly needed March to October (seasonal) In Florida, this is a seasonal position consistent with the competition schedule March thru December.
