Possible shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Sheep, Goats. Duties may include: Feeding animals grain and hay, checking water tanks and fences - performing maintenance and repairs where necessary. Make feed using wheat, hay, and grain harvested on the farm for the animals. Caring for wheat, hay, and grain crops as necessary in the form of general field maintenance, irrigating, and cultivating/clearing soil. Sorting sheep and goats to and from corrals and pastures to assist with shearing, tagging, vaccinating, de-worming, loading/unloading trailers, potential driving of feed trucks, tractors, ATV's, and skid steers & other related Sheep/Goat Handlers activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Must have 2 months Livestock exp.Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 40lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.40lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours.
