Job Duties:

Workers will manually plant, cultivate and harvest fruits and vegetables including; thinning and weeding plants using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes and rakes. Workers will dig, cut, pick, bunch, clean and grade, and package crops by hand. Workers must take care to not scar or bruise vegetables during harvesting and/or packing process. Workers must be able to lift, load, and unload 50 pound crates/boxes of harvested vegetables and stack and load hay and straw. Workers may drive utility vehicles, add or repair irrigation lines, perform maintenance and participate in farm and field clean up. Workers may occasionally assist in chores associated with feeding and bedding beef cattle if needed. Workers will need to have a minimum 3 months prior experience with general farming and harvesting and/or packing vegetables.
