- Job Duties:
- Walking fields and manually weeding and clearing fields using a shovel, hoe, machete; lifting and carrying crops such as watermelon from field to storage; operating farm equipment and machinery such as tractor, swather, rake, baler, combine, grain cart for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn, wheat, hay, silage; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems for watering crops by shoveling, carrying and placing pipe; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
