Job Duties:
Prepare beekeeping equipment and facilities. Receive bee hives shipped in from California in the springtime. Split bee colonies. Feed and medicate bees. Treat bee hives for mites. Transport beehives to honey production sites. Monitor, maintain and increase bee hives. Mow around bee yards. Load and unload flatbed trucks. Transport bee hives from bee yards to the honey extraction plant. Harvest, extract and package honey and other bee byproducts. Build and repair bee boxes and other beekeeping equipment. Sterilize all honey extraction equipment and facilities daily. Winterize all beekeeping facilities and equipment and prepare all bee hives to be shipped out of state at the end of the season.

Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively. Drivers license in 30-days. Clean driving record required.
