Job Duties:
Must have satisfactory understanding and knowledge of electrical over hydraulics functions in mechanical equipment. Must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment.Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have six months of referenced, paid production experience. Must be in good health and physical condition. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must be able to exercise proper felling techniques and promptly determine the most beneficial selection of cutting lengths. Must abide by landowner, employer and OSHA regulations. Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute harvest prescriptions assigned to operator by forester. Workers will be working as a two man harvesting team. Each worker must maintain a level of production standard that will insure that their other team member work is continuous during the harvest period.

Special Requirements:
Workers will be working as a two man harvesting team. Each worker must maintain a level of production standard that will insure that their other team member work is continuous during the harvest period. The teams level of production will vary in accordance with forest terrain; timber stands being harvested and weather conditions. The employer will provide 2 days of training and/or allow 2 days of work for worker to reach production standards.
