Job Duties:

Greenhouse: Workers may seed plant trays. Workers may clean and wash plant trays. Workers may apply water and fertilizers to plants in trays. Workers may clip and mow plants. Workers may load plant trays onto trucks and wagons. Setting Tobacco: DARK FIRE TOBACCO Workers may ride setting machine to plant tobacco. Workers may plant by hand. Workers may load plant trays onto equipment for setting. Workers may stack and remove trays from fields. Workers may prepare fields for planting. Workers may reset missing plants by hand.

Special Requirements:

.Workers will be trained for two days (16 Hours) after which the worker will be expected to cut/spike 25-30 sticks per hour (dark) 100 sticks per hr. (burley) And perform all listed job duties in a effective manner. All job duties apply, except wood/sawdust in barns apply to only dark fire tobacco. Employees may be subject to random drug test, post employment at employers cost. 3 MONTHS TOBACCO CROP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. ITEM 15 WORKERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO STAND, WALK, BEND & STOOP, ALSO LIFT 60-80 LBS UP TO 4 FT. FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. WORKERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTS AT EMPLOYERS COST, POST EMPLOYMENT WORKERS WILL BE TRAINED FOR 16 HOURS, AT WHICH TIME THEY WILL BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM ALL JOB DUTIES LISTED, IN A EFFECTIVE TIME MANNER.
