- to plant cane by hand; to clean ditches with shovel; to pull grass in the sugar cane fields during the planting season. Able to work in hot, humid weather, bending and stooping to reach ground level crops and able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination.
