- Job Duties:
- Onion Line Stackers and Line Worker - Laborers Workers will manually stack up to 60 pound onion bags on pallets and wrap pallets in farm owned onion packing shed. Product Filler (line worker): utilize a machine that weighs and fills either a bag or carton and then conveyed to a palletizer. Obtain a new bag or carton, place it in the appropriate spot and press a button that releases the machine to complete the process. Forklift driver duties Workers will stand on hard surfaces for long hours. Tasks will include bending, lifting and repetitive movements during the work day. Worker must possess requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat job process throughout the workday. Workers must work at a sustained, vigorous pace and make bona-fide efforts to work efficiently and consistently that are reasonable at workplace.

- 1. Must be able to perform all duties within this job description in what can be considered a safe manner adhering to all established farm and workplace safety guidelines, practices, and procedures. 2. Must wear all required and assigned personal protective equipment always when required to do so. Employee must wear proper clothing and footwear depending on the season. All footwear must be closed-toe due to safety precautions. Workers may not use a cellphone or handheld device while operating equipment. 3. The employer or designated employee will provide instructions and general supervision. Employees will be expected to conform to the specific instructions given for each days work.
