Job Duties:

We need a seasonal employee to assist with our cattle operation. Employees will need to be familiar with cattle. Employees will care for, feed and process livestock. When processing cattle, we use low stress handling technics, to take directions, to complete jobs in a safe manner for cattle and workers. Employees will need to drive trucks to feed cattle in bunk line or open fields. Must be able to haul and unroll round hay bales or place in hay rings. Employees will need to haul silage from field to pit and haul hay from field to stack. Employees must have general skills of operating farm tractor, swather, loader and general farm equipment for tillage, planting, grinding of commodities, and hay. Must be able to do batching and loading feed truck. Employees must have basic welding skills and will be required to do maintenance and repairs on equipment. Must be able to keep work sites clean and orderly. Employees will be required to build fences (barbwire, electric and corral). Drive truck to haul grass sprigs.

Special Requirements:

Job requires repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a regular drivers license. Must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. We require 3 months experience.
