The Department of Labor recently announced new minimum wage rates, called Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs), that employers must offer and pay, at the time work is performed, to nonimmigrant H-2A workers and workers in corresponding employment beginning on the effective date of the new wage rates. Job Duties:
Worker will perform general farm labor duties including, but not limited to, feeding livestock such as cattle, processing cattle, and fixing ranch fencing. Worker may also perform other farm labor duties such as operating tractors with implements, run hay making equipment (bailer, rake, swather, bale wagon), servicing tractors and attaching farm implements, welding and building fencing to contain livestock. Workers must have a minimum of 3 months verifiable work experience driving 65 hp. tractors or larger and working with tractor implements and equipment. Workers may use tractor, trailer, backhoe and chainsaw.
