- Job Duties:
- Prepare Meals including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner for 35 Farmworkers. Prep Kitchen and Clean Up. Prepare food lists and shop for needed food supplies. Create menu. Consider workers' tastes and specific food requests and tailor the menu accordingly, when feasible. Work within the allotted food budget. keep kitchen inventory. Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety. Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served. Rotate and store food supplies. Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment. Apportion and serve food to employees. Work schedule is a split shift. Hours are 4:00am to 8:00am and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Monday through Sunday (7 days a week). Cook will also have some occasional grocery shopping duties during the mid-day hours.
