Job Duties:

Temporary Seasonal Position: Farm Construction Laborer | SOC Code: 47-2061.00 All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period. Bio Plant Nutrient, LLC, Sherman, TX, Grayson Possible shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: N/A Duties may include: Work on farm constructing Widespace Greenhouse(s) used for soil production for various wheat crops; must be able to follow specific blueprint for constructing greenhouse(s). Must operate equipment, hand and construction tools, install plastic covers and meshes on steel cable structures with or without supervision/direction. Tensioning and re-tensioning of post-tensioned cable structures. Operate hand or power tools of all kinds without supervision. Excavate foundations, install metal columns, assemble cable trusses and tension cables according to designs. Work at height, walking on tensioned steel cables that have movement. Use of ladders and scaffolding to climb over the cable structure, & other related Farm Construction Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 47-2061.00 (onetonline.org). Must have 3 months Construction/Building Greenhouses exp. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 110lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hours. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours. Must be 18 years of age.
