- Perform supervisor duties on our seasonal horseradish farm in Missouri like: Operation of specialized horseradish equipment and implements, assist with leading the harvesting and planting crews. Valid Class A CDL required. Ensure efficient use and care of all equipment, to include routine maintenance. Direct and assist in monitoring the activities of crews. - Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Must have previous experience in agriculture, previous management experience, knowledge on GPS Auto Guidance. Must be self-motivated individual with passion for agriculture and have the ability to think outside of the box. Must have experience operating large farm equipment, semi and tandem style trucks, and farm implements- planting, irrigation, harvest, and maintenance. Must have ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Must be able to have a flexible work schedule. Must be able to recognize deficiencies, multitask and manage time for efficiency. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Frequent stooping is required.
