- Haul grain by driving large semi trucks pulling hopper bottom trailers to market facilities, elevator; check truck and trailer to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; inspect load; tear down/rebuild old and build new equipment through winter inside well-lit shop with pneumatic tools to prepare for spring.
